1978 Chevy C-10 Sponsors needed!
Story behind this truck...
I am an 18 year old college student and I am attempting to modify my 1978 Chevy C-10 in order to Convert this daily driver into a show truck as well. The reason that I chose this make and model is because when I was growing up my father had owned a brown 1980 chevy C-10 that he later sold to my grandfather whom recently pasted away. After my grandfather past away my uncle gave the C-10 to me. The truck did not run and was in such bad condition that my father and I decided that it was more econmical if I got rid of the truck and bought a more gas friendly car untill I got a better job. So I sold it and got a 1998 for explorer instead. About a year after getting the explorer I was back in a position were I could get another C-10 with the intentions of restoring it to show quality in memory of my grandfather. So my father and I got online in search of another C-10 and came across one on ebay for $2000 in kansas and although we could not just fly up there and check the truck out first and decide if it was in good enough shape to purchase we purchased it anyways and proceded to drive it all the way back to houston texas. About a year after having the truck the engine gave out and had to be replaced so we scraped the previous engine and droped a rebuilt performance engine with a cam and performance carborator in the C-10. About 8 mths after doing this the engine began to have problems again. which brings us to present day engine staus. The current engine is a salvaged 350 4bolt that was purchased and replace for $1500. It runs well but is in the need of an oil leak and a new power steering pump.

I would have already began to do some of these modification but I currently can not do to lack of funds because I have recently quit my job teaching children of the community tae kwon do in order to make the national team in tae kwon do and to complete school (college). I also can not began any of the body modifications because I do not have a welder or a plasma cutter. At one point I was working in a custom car shop and had purchased the parts to bag and body drop my truck for $1500 but the shop owner that I had purchased them from took my money and didnt give me the parts nor the money after he changed locations due to a shop fire. I am currently filing a lawsuit against the shop in order to receive my parts and or money. I hope that I was able to convay my passion for this truck well enough to receive sponsor ships for the parts and equipment (welder, plasma cutter, grinder, airsaw, sawz all, body saw, new jacks and jack stands ect...) that I need to make this rebuild a reality.
Couldnt figure out how to post pics so just email and ask for them
