I purchased this car in March of 2007 and it has been an ongoing project of going faster since. I spent the first year and a half acquiring all the parts to put the car together and also keeping it a secret from my father. I stored it in my brothers garage. I did this because I wanted to surprise him with what I built when it was finished. So it was quite interesting when my dad would visit my brothers. We would often push the car into a neighbours garage before he arrived. For a year and a half we managed to keep it from my dad. He had no clue. The day i finished the car, I drove it over to his house unannounced. I parked out front, reved the engine until he came outside to see what was going on, and then let her rip filling the neighbourhood with smoke and then launching the car down the street. I watched him smile and shake his head realizing that this was the same car he went with me to see a year and a half before and advised me not to buy. Ill never forget that day and how proud we both were of what I created. The Camaro has been a family project since. Every nut and bolt on this car has been put on by myself, dad, 2 brothers, or friends. We are all very passionate about this car.
The first time to the track, the car ran much faster than expected with a 12.03 @ 115mph in the 1/4 mile. This was in September of last year. Recently with only some minor tuning we ran 11.85 @ 118mph. We now want to get into racing much more seriously with this car. There are plans to rebuild the engine, begin spraying nitrous, and upgrade the drivetraine and suspension. I WILL run low 10 second hopefully 9 second 1/4 mile times by the end of this year. Up until now everything put into this car has been our own money and time. We even recently purchased a 24' enclosed trailer to haul the car, tools and all spare parts to race events. We also plan on having Lucente & Sons Racing T-shirts made. A sponsor would look great on the car, trailer, and T-shirts. In order to achieve our goals with this car we will need some help. By no means do we have a lot of money. I have put everything I have into this car and emptied my account numerous times.
Any sponsor would get a lot of great exposure with this car. I am at Milan Dragay often, and will be making trips out of state to other tracks a few times a year. I attend many local car shows, and the car is well known in the local area, as well as Windsor, Ontario. This car is also often driven around on the street. It is licensed and insured. It is street legal and always will be. The car draws plenty of attention. Its loud, and looks like no other camaro mostly due to the custom front bumper. I get plenty of comments and it is a great conversation starter everywhere I go. I have already convinced plenty of people they should buy the same engine as me and i could convince many more that they should purchase your product. I want to work toward setting this car up for Milan's Heads Up Drag Radial Class and in the mean time race the sunday E.T series bracket races. These events draw bigger crowds.

FYI: "Snow Plow" sticker on front bumper is gone. Would be a great spot for a sponsor decal.
