Im currently rebuilding an 85 MR2, and has become a great hobby - working on it almost every day.

First i would like to say - there is a FULL feature on the cars progress on Car Domain with many photos. over 4 pages - constantly updated on the progress

- the idea at first is to stay close to stock - but any modification is possible.
Some mods like induction kit, and vents and other details from later MR2's are already lined up for the rebuild - we have the side scoop and kit for 87 ready.

Once finished, we are intending on taking the engine from the donor car and modding it right up, port polish/skim the head, supercharger or turbo - skys the limit - then we will change the engine over with the current one - but thats in the future.

I have rebuilt the engine and its all back in the car. looks shiny new!!!




The car will soon be ready for us to respray it - it will be a very heavy Mettalic gun metal grey with a hint of copper.



I believe this would be the perfect candidate for sponsorship deals as the Mk1 has many fans.

I would be willing to show the car at many meets and shows, get it to Santa Pod as well, for big or small events.
I would be willing to wear sponsored t-shirts etc, hand out flyers, logo graphic the car, promote furthermore on car domain and other sites - and i also intend to get a feature in the "MR2 Only" magazine and maybe more.

Any action considered.
Any sponsorship considered - Especially performance or paint promotion

- Yeah we have the Alloys for it now - TSW's - do not have pictures yet as we are currently spraying them - They will be a custom paint - basically a smoke type colour - few shades darker than the body will be.

The body will be very similar to Honda's Galaxy Grey Mettalic. Looks almost pearlescent - with very heavy Mettalic and like a hint of copper in there.

Awesome colour i think for this car.
