I have a 1986 mazda rx-7 fc. I have had the car for a little over a year. I am looking for some help with the powerplant of the car. The car has a few mods such as 5 lugs swapped conversion
4 piston brakes calipers with cross drilled/slotted rotors front and back
full polyurethene bushings upgrade
torsen LSD diff
Tein HR suspension kit (dropped 2.5')
front and back strut tower bars
upgraded heavy duty drive shaft
3 puck clutch disc and 2 layered teeth heavy duty pressure plate with 12 lb. lightweight flywheel
short shifter with momo knob
Drift released handbrake button
K & N air filter
monza type 1 BOV
full 3' catless custom exhast
aluminum hood
vented passenger side headlight cover.
The reason I need help is the motor blew up on me just after getting the car and I can't afford the bills of life and the car. I love my rex and enjoyed every sec I got to drive it before the motor popped. I always got to the racetrack(Mosport International raceway) on pro weekends and on the small weekends to support the budget racers. I volunteer my time to help out a few race teams because of my love for the sport but volunteering does not pay much. LOL. I could also use some help to get some real tires so I can track the car but some motor support would make me very happy. I hope to talk to you soon. Thanks in advance Nick Arnold
