OK what I have is my baby and im trying to get her the proper attention that she deserves. I have a 1987 Audi 5000 cs Quattro with the 2.2L 10v OHC Turbo Engine. Current modifications to date are 1.8 Bar chipped ECU as well as a stiffer waste gate spring to improve boost, full 3 in catback exhaust which sounds mean when pulling up to the line, and blow off valve installed into dual pass inter cooler. As for transmission work I have installed aftermarket stage 3 heavy duty clutch. This vehicle is heavy stock due to the AWD Quattro feature, the AC system have been completely removed to improve weight. The only exterior modification that really has been done as Hella Fog Logs installed in front. Interior modifications are small including custom mounted tripod gauge cluster in center of dash. Gauges include boost gauge, Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge, and Volt Gauge. Currently the vehicle still have stock fuel system (The CIS mechanical style fuel injection system) I would love to be able to convert the vehicle to complete EFI with custom made fuel rail. After wards looking to convert it to ethanol powered car. Also I would like to also completely rebuild engine with bored out .30 over, install aftermarket T3/T4 Hybrid Turbo, Install aftermarket larger Inter cooler, BlauSport 272 degree 12mm lift cam, Audi 200 20vTQ Flywheel. As for the body I really would love to paint it Jet black and replace wheel with something aftermarket. All of this work I can easily preform myself. If I could find a sponsor I would almost do anything to earn the money for these parts including but no limiting to passing out fliers, paint logos on my car, work vender booth, go to car shows and races, and advertise in any way that I can. This car has come along way from being almost junked by previous owned because of the wiring harness burning up, i replaced the entire almost 1000 wire harness myself wire by wire. This car is like my baby and I just want to show the world what she is capable of. So many have laughed when I fixed her but I feel that with a little work, She will be one mean racing machine. Thank you for reading my post.
