I have a 1990 toyota pickup with a 2jz engine from a sc300. It is an automatic. I made custom motor mounts and a transmission mount to fit the motor in the fire wall was also recessed 2 inches to allow the engine to move further back to accomidate for the huge radiator. The truck has a full 3 inch exhaust that goes through a flowmaster muffler. It has an external transmission cooler. Has custom made exhaust, the brake master cylinder is out of an astro van i had to do this to get rid of the huge vaccum booster. The truck is lowered with 4/5 drop and sports 17inch mustang gt wheels. I want to change the no turbo 2jz out for the 2jzgte out of the supra. I chose to build this truck because my uncle has a 1993 toyota pickup with a built 22rte engine producing 300hp with 400ft/lbs torque and i love the way it feels and the looks you get when you beat up on mustangs and covettes. They are so surprised when they get beat by a truck and i love the feeling. I plan on making around 600 with my truck. I plan on doing a four link suspension with coilovers in the rear with a detroit posi lock differential. I am looking for sponsorship on the engine parts like cams, headgasket, turbo kits, etc.. anthing that has to do with performance to make my horsepower goals. About me i am 20 years old i have been working on cars for 10 years now i worked in my uncles shop in ladson,SC called Show Zone Motorsports. I have had 3 vehicles featured in magazines. I am enlisted in the US Air Force i leave for basic on September 2 2008.
