In the future I hope to have the car repainted with a clean/bright looking white color, tinted windows, new front and back seats, carpet, a cowl hood, new wheels, suspension, tires that will hook up on the pavement, a camaro ss wing, and maybe a supercharger/turbo kit.
How I obtainted the camaro - I love this car soo much. All that I have done since I had the car is put money and time into it. I first bought the car in a "rolling chassis" form for $900 from a guy in Memphis. Then, I traded my Jeep Cherokee for the original engine and transmission. The engine had everything already installed on it and the transmission was an automatic 4l60e with a shift kit and tci servo. I had to bolt the heads and intake onto the engine, bolt the transmission up to the engine, then install them into the car from the top of the car. After setting the valves, I found out that my $4000 car was pretty fast! The sound of the engine turned heads as I idled and passed by. About 2 months after that, my brother drove the car hard and blew the transmission out. So, I bought a used T56 manual transmission off of craigslist.com and swapped it out in my driveway by myself. The swap was difficult, but worth it! I have some very jealous LS1 camaro friends that wished they could have the sound and speed of my LT1 camaro. I still have never had a ticket in my life! I plan on keeping it that way too. I only race on the weekends.
