Hey hows it going, i actually have two audis one is a 2001 a6 quattro 2.8 which is my daily driver. And the one that i am looking to get sponsored is my 1995 audi 90 sport quattro 2.8 5spd. I got the car about one year ago for about 200 bucks from a customer at the shop I work at. The customer did not want to put the money in it to get it going (1500 bucks at my cost for parts) so imagine the labor that was involved. It had a busted waterpump impeller that went thru out the engine and heater core, three bad axles that i couldnt reboot the shaft i had to go with replacement. The drive shaft carrier bearing was out and the only place i could find it at initially was Audi dealer itself, and i would had to buy the entire drive shaft which was 1/2 carbon fiber (not bad for 95 technology) and they wanted 1200 bucks for a new one. I searched for a couple more weeks and i found a manufacturer out of germany who made new ones which only cost 110 bucks with shipping quite the price difference, made me happy. It also needed brakes at all 4 corners, which I did but now i Have crossed drilled rotors and new calipers on all 4 corners and i am waiting for my magnum braided steel brake line that are in the mail. It is sitting at my friends bodyshop in saint cloud, minnesota right now just finished the roof to a glassy finish with the 1998 Audi racing green and it looks bleeping awsome, I cant wait untill the rest is finished. I also put 17x8 rims on it with 225/55/17 hankook for the rubber and they grip like you are on rails. I have made a wish list for the car that i will get in time, sponsorship or not and it includes t3 turbo kit with inter cooler, 41mm intake and exhaust valves with titanium springs, 272 grind cams, muffler( i have not found one i like yet) i am not going to touch the rest of the exhaust, it has stock 2.5 inch already. Stage three clutch by sachs is soon to go on, first i want to find a lighter fly wheel. Intrax lowering spring aslo with kyb inserts. What would really be cool is the mytodyne supercharger but that is just a little to pricy for me insted i will get there larger throttlebody and ported intake manifold, I cant find larger injectors which may be vital for the turbo i wish to put on. I have to find all the pieces of the puzzle first before i can put it together, so to say. I may have missed a couple of things but the majority of it is there. I have been around tuners since i was 14, mostly 4g63 mitsus. I fell in love with my audi when it wasnt mine yet. The customer was a long time patron of the shop i work at (JS Import Auto). They used it as a daily driver and it showed, but working on the car i saw all the technology that Audi put in this machine back in 1995 and when the car gave up on them they were going to trash it i offered 200 bucks and we both ended up happy, me more than them. I used it as my daily driver untill i bought my 2001 a6 2.8 quattro. The type of sponsors i am looking for is performace mods, I like the clean and stock look and the car is almost there. I am modding my car because i love cars. they have been my passion for a long time, Reading about nsxs and 850 and carreras when i was younger in motertrend confirmed my enthusiam but the earlist memory is my uncles 66 charger and him taking me for rides when i was 4,5,and 6 years old started it all.
