Hey my names Reuben, for some reason an error keeps coming up when i try to put up pics so i put my link above that should directly take you to the car pictures. Before i go into the car i understand this is a business not just free hand outs. and who ever does the sponsoring needs to make their money back somehow. I can do that for you. I love cars and everything about them. even talking about them. I grew up around cars, my step dad owns a garage and i went to school for auto body and custom paint in cleveland ohio at ohio technical college after already taking 2 years of it. I can do some mechanical work to i am currently rebuilding a 1978 rallysport camaro. and worked at a garage before. i have always done work for friends and friends of friends.
I would prefer to have logos on the car and wear and hand out clothing and stickers and things like that. I love to drive, i actually drive alot from new york to mass all over around the north east. I love car shows and i would have no problem taking this car to car shows. And where i think this car will make the people say "WOW" and notice it is that it is already pretty quick. Its a 1996 ford contour se 2.5L 24V DOHC V6 with a 5 speed trans. and i did a little custom work to it already but i would also like to save some to get the sponsors input on what they want out of it. i have a K&N intake with a flomasters exhaust and a ECU chip from pcd.com and bosch platnium plugs and wires. My car was rated at 170 horse and 165 ft Lbs torque stock and its pretty quick after the simple upgrades. It could be alot faster.
I am thinking that this car gets turned into a sleek sleeper. Maybe a simple body kit, sound system, some interior, even though i did some interior paint already. But i think what would hook people is if this car hauled on the track but was still street legal so i could drive it all over to shows and even just talking to people on the side of the road. If i could get people to think this car will run a 15 or 16 and i lay down a 12 or 13 maybe even an 11 that would be amazing. and this car has potential. the 2.5L v6 is pretty beefy engine for that size car, even if was just a simple turbo this car would rip. I have time and places to work on it i just need some money for it.
