I have an 03 Subaru Baja. I love my truck, sure its different but thats what you want in a sponsored car, something thats gonna stick out. It still has the factory silver paint job with the exception of a nick on the hood I repaired the paints great. I've taken awesome care of my Baja so for being a 4 cylinder it runs great, its amazing on gas mileage and has enough power that I can load up the bed drive up to the hills do a bit of off-roading and not have a single problem. it is an automatic, id rather have the fun of a 5 speed manual but with the way gas is guess its a good thing I,m not tearing it up to much. i would love to drop the new boxer engine in it but i dont think thats an option for me. Ive put a K&N Engineering high flow filter but would love to find an intake for it though. Ive put new speakers in the front and am currently trying to find a way to make a sub box that will fit behind the back seat. I recently put in a in dash DVD player with an ipod interface and a full set of blue underbody ground effects. I'm tying a color scheme of blue aluminum and carbon fiber together; got it the pedals and shifter so far. I also painted the calipers a matching shade of blue. I found a company that will special design a vinyl dash kit but i haven't got that done quite yet. It has Silverstar Ultra fog and headlights witch have a blue hit to them. I put blue headlight wraps that ad to the color of the lights and make it look way sharp and very clean during the day. The silver and blue look great together so far. But I was considering getting a tonneau cover and building a custom fiberglass box for the bed of the truck to load up with stereo equipment etc. Also if I do go with the tonneau cover i want to get it painted Subaru Blue with two racing strips off set on the passenger side . The one closer to the outside of the vehicle should be about three inches and the closer strip to the center of the car should be about two inches with a space of about an inch separating them. i did some pin striping over some of the plastic trim to cover up the yellowed clear coat so now it looks great again. I want to get a new set of wheels and tires. It has the stock wheels and new tires on it now which still looks great but I want that extra pop of 18" black rims. I would love to get a suspension kit to drop my truck about two inches as well. I want to find an actual body kit for it to make it look meatier though. I work at an auto parts store so i do have some misc. interior accessories. Other than that, thats my car I love her and shes good to me. shes my baby lol we have all kinds of fun in her. i like it to because i can go anywhere and because of the AWD I've gotten out of places that lifted fords for those who need compensating have got stuck in. granted she was a bit dirty and muddy after that but even filthy my trucks beautiful. I'm looking for any kind of help i can n getting my baby as awesome as she can be. i love my truck and i see all her potential. i want everyone else to as well. so in a world of gas sucking lifted trucks for guys who feel the need to compensate for something theres my truck, practical, fun, efficient, pretty, and a diamond in the rough.
