2009 Pontiac G8 GT

I was lucky enough to get the last of G8s (2009 G8 GT), and have been extremely happy with it.

My passion for cars started back in Lithuania, when I used to help my grandfather tweak with his LADA (a Soviet-built car). It was one of only 2 cars in the parking lot of the entire apartment building! From that, I also learned how special it is to have something different from everybody else, and how exciting it is to drive a car that's not just a run-of-the-mill.

Throughout high school, I drove a 1987 Pontiac Firebird Formula, and loved it for all of its greatness and faults. After retiring it for my brother's use, I acquired a 1991 Alfa Romeo 164S, and drove it until the wheels fell off (what a beautiful engine note it had!).

After graduating, I got married to a wonderful woman, who completely supports my passion for cars.

I have treated my G8 to a K&N cold air intake, and have been very happy with the extra bump in higher rpm horsepower, as well as the sound. Also, I bought it a set of snow shoes to get through the winter (I bought this car to drive it, and to enjoy it every day, rain or shine or snow).

Two days ago I made the most stupid decision of my life and had 2 Cherry Bomb glass packs installed in place of the stock 2 mufflers. The drone and resonance inside of the car is absolutely unbearable. I am on a very tight budget, as circumstances landed me back in school (I am currently pursuing my PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University). I already spent nearly 300 dollars for the parts and welding, and now I feel totally screwed.

I wish I was able to afford a quality system, and make things right for my car again. Heck, I'm truly afraid to have my wife ride in it now because of the ridiculous drone.

Would it be possible to receive a sponsored system for my G8? I'm willing to do anything, put up logos on the car, take videos/photos... whatever you might need. I sadly cannot afford a proper system. It makes sense how much research and development goes into a great system for the G8, and I should have just saved my 300 dollars and waited a little while until I can afford a quality product.

Thank you for even the slightest consideration,

TADAS SILEIKA
