Hello to all who view this thread...
I have a 98 jeep Cherokee Lim. AKA 98jeepsrt6. I'm sure this idea has been brought up before but i have yet to see one actually done... the majority of jeepers like lifts and things but i am going in the other direction.. very difficult task to achieve due to certain uncertainties of the cars capabilities but i have spent days and hours looking at every possibility and it can be done.
I have begun my quest of making this jeep happen..
Modifications...
Drive-train: almost stock
Pacesetter headers/true dual exhaust/h- pipe/flowmaster 50 series(x2)
Cold air intake made it myself but looks just as good as any high quality performance intake.. Plan on upgrading throttle body to a 63mm.
No a/c.. no clutch fan (upgraded to electric fan)
dana35 rear axle 27 spline open diff... looking for an Aussie locker
Forgot to mention its only 2wd.. so not much off road for me.. well its Miami nowhere to go anyways maybe the dump... 
Modified interior:
herculiner bed liner through out the interior.. no more carpet.. maybe later get a new black carpet for better looks.. good possibility will be done.
Upgraded stereo.. currently have pioneer indash tv.. Pyle marine 2000 watt 4 channel amp..(custom painted)
(4) 6.5 pyle marine component speaker w/ tweeters.
Plan on having 2 rockford fosgate 12inch marine subwoofer with another pyle marine 2000w mono amp.
switch panel for aux fans and lights.. more for neons/kill switch/ and truck horn!! train horn a lil loud..
all interior panels have been painted black even though i need to find a better quality paint for the plastic some panels the paint did not hold well.. hopefully when the car will painted i will strip the interior and have all the panels repainted proffesional or if i can find a place to do i will.
Exterior:
not to much has been to the outside only becuase the car sits around at the moment so no need for to much modifications but the are a couple..
New headlights non sealed housing with 8000k hids..
Clear corner lights painted with VHT tint spray..( That shit sucks) so need new ones agian..
need paint but for now i like the heep look, its a good sleeper..
Suspension, wheels/tires:
Nothing done yet because its the biggiest challange..
The goal:
will be to lower the jeep about 3-4 inches front and rear to lower the center of gravity and make it look like the new jeep srt8s.. but mine would be the oldskool version..i plan on getting black rock wheels series type d.. 15x8 all around.. have not decided on tire package yet...
For the interior 4 bucket seats/5 point harness/roll cage/ custom sub-woofer enclosure/everything black/ custom center counsel/ new autometer gauges and cluster/new steering wheel with quick release/ i even wanna put a flux capacitor in the for fun.
Engine mods: have several ideas but not sure which to go with...
Keeping the stock block 4.0 and adding a single holset HX35/40 turbo/intercooler/internals and management systems needed. but not sure if the block/head will handle such pressure.
Or swap in a new ls1/srt8/2jz supra engine many ideas but not sure with which to go but which ever one it is, it will be turbo charged...
Mainly my goal for my jeep is to be fully one of a kind no one else will have and even when they want the will give up cuz its just to much... i have had this dream for my jeep since i had my first car 93 cherokee sport.. which i slightly modified..
i would like to have sponsor to help me achieve my goal and get your products out to the unknown world.. when this car is done i would like to travel with it just to show it to everyone in all countries... i will put stickers but not full body decals.. i would like to keep a clean look with the racers look.. Haha another goal im not a big fan of ricers only cuz they talk to much crap and then theres the people with money and their euro sports car.. i want take my heep and woop up on them and say hey you just got wooped by a JEEP! on the track or on the strip...
I apologize for the extend of the post but theres so much that drives me to get this done.. this is a lifetime project for me and i hope to one day pass it on to my kids and keep the jeep legend going... Also the most important thing i forgot to mention is that i really do want to make this a eco friendly car as well. Any and all kits are welcome to try and test hopefully without any problems but all in all im willing to takes the risks..
