Interesting. I have been thinking of buying a 240 also, and have wondered how good the stock engine would be for drifting. You find it's fine, or underpowered? I'm sure it's underpowered, but does it hinder drifting?

hinders drifting on big 3rd gear sweepers. but it can 3rd gear through chicanes just fine. my favorite turn combo on our track (now closed ) was the chicane(3rd gear) to off camber(2nd gear). did just fine. of course, once we hit a straight, the big power guys are gone.

but right now the KA is out of the car and an LS1 is in. its running...but its coming back out for some more modifications. dry oil sump is one. and the cage for the rest of the car. i HOPE to send the car to the 48 states so i can run some events. forrest wang came from hawaii and he seems to be doing well. i really dont see why i wouldnt be able to do just as well.
