Hello, my name is Jason Gatcke. I currently reside in Kelowna British Columbia, Canada.
Recently I have purchased a 1995 Nissan 200sx. The previous owner had completed an engine swap to an SR20DET “red top“. This car is still in the midst of being completed, and I am reaching out for assistance due to funding and idea‘s.
My objective is to create a show car, turning heads and blowing minds is the catch phrase I am trying to put on her. Most engine parts have been upgraded, interior and body have remained barely touched. My personal experience is with electronics and installation, however I do not know how to fibreglass/customer fabrication. The body of the car has a few minor “dings” and scratches. Interior of the car is in good shape, however the only modifications are the turbo timer, boost controller and three customer gauges; fuel air ratio, boost and battery.
To complete the engine would require a new GT28 (turbo) and the engine needs to be rewired, with a possible ECU tune. The engine that is in the car has approximately 47,000 kilometres and is running rich because the O2 sensor was disconnected with the engine swap. This engine has only ran with 94 octane, synthetic oil (5w-50), and the oil has been changed regularly. All ignition components have been upgraded. The previous owner has also completed a port and polish.
The exterior of the car does not have any rust. The few dents that the car has are not creased, and will be easy to remove. The front axle has been replaced, and currently has upgraded rims (16”) with brand new tread. Exhaust has been upgraded the length of the car to a megnaflow cat-back exhaust system.
Here is some more upgrades including already discussed changes:
Hotshot front mount intercooler (stock was top mount), Walbro 255 fuel pump, Nismo FPR, ceramic coated intake manifold with heat spacers, ACT 6 puck clutch, Greddy boost controller and turbo timer, new oem rad with 2x10" FAL fans, PlaceRacing polyurethane motor mounts, Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulleys, Microtech programmable ECU, MSD Ignition, Taylor Spiro Pro Race "409" wires, 3" stainless mandrel bent turbo back exhaust with Magnaflow muffler. Cusco strut tower brace, new Z rated NEXEN (16) tires.
Currently I am seeking sponsors to help complete the project. I am looking for sponsors to do:
Interior of the car including seats, electronics, dash, lighting effect’s, security system, upholstery and wiring.
Exterior of the car including paint, body kit (wide body preferred but not necessary), rims, decals, lighting effect’s, possibly some carbon fibre (depending on color of the vehicle) and sponsor logo’s.
Engine compartment including HP gain, replacement of the turbo, tuning, paint, rewiring and basic upgrading of hoses and various other parts.
I am willing to be fully devoted to those who are interested in investing into this project. I do not have an issue with sponsor logo’s, traveling for shows/event’s and I am always on the go around town. My ultimate goal was to complete this car and enter it into shows by myself, however, at this time I am seeking assistance to get to that point. I would also like to include that I will be making frequent trips to Vancouver and Calgary and possibly further than these places as well, which will aid in the promotion of sponsor advertising. I would like to advise that I also own a brand new 2009 Kia Spectra lx convenience which currently only has upgraded stereo components; a Clarion 7” double din touch screen monitor, 2 12” Polk db series 1222 in stock enclosure powered by an Alpine MRP-1000 mono block amp. I would also consider this vehicle for a sponsorship.
I appreciate that you have used time out of your day to read over my inquiry, I look forward to your response.
Thank you,
Jason Gatcke
